The village of Aguacate, Intibucá, Honduras is about ½ mile (0.8 km) by mountain trail from Guanacaste.

The Friends of Honduras medical team has been serving this community for three years. It is equally as poor as Guanacaste. 

It is our hope that with additional resources, we will be able to expand our community development projects into the village in the near future.
